- Heat between 2 Cups and 1 Quart Filtered Water to between 100 and 104 degrees (just warmer than body temperature).

Administer The Gentle Cleansing Enema
The best position to assume when receiving the Gentle Cleansing Enema is on your back with your hips slightly raised. After the enema has been inserted, continue to lay on your back with your knees to your chest holding the solution in your body for as long as you can before releasing it. Do not roll from side to side.
If you do not feel the urge to expel the liquid, simply stand up and move around as usual until you do. Sometimes the enema will not be entirely evacuated because of poor hydration. The body has absorbed the water and nutrients to it's benefit.
